CWU offers scholarships based on a variety of criteria, including academic achievement, financial need, program of study, talent, leadership, and unique experiences.

The best part? You don't need to search for individual CWU scholarships or complete a separate application for each one. Complete the Scholarship Central application, and after the application closes, you will be matched with scholarships for which you may qualify.

Scholarship Central is primarily for current CWU students, but there are also limited scholarship opportunities for confirmed incoming Fall 2027 students. Most merit-based awards for new students are awarded automatically through the Financial Aid Office and do not require a Scholarship Central application.

Remember to apply every year! Scholarship Central opens October 1 each year and closes March 1.
